Privacy Policy
What personal data we hold, why we hold it, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
- Identity and KYC data — name, date of birth, PAN, address proof, and the documents required by the KYC & AML Policy.
- Contact data — email, mobile number, postal address.
- Transaction data — plans purchased, payment references, invoices. We do not store your full card number; card data is handled by the payment gateway.
- Usage data — login times, pages and reports accessed, IP address and device information, used for security and to operate the service.
We do not collect your bank account balances, holdings, or your broking account credentials, and we will never ask for them. A Research Analyst has no need of them and may not handle your funds or securities.
Why we hold it
- To verify your identity and meet our legal obligations under PMLA and SEBI regulations.
- To provide the research service you have paid for, and to issue invoices.
- To communicate about your subscription, and to answer and record grievances.
- To secure the service against unauthorised access and unauthorised redistribution of research.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary, and only with: the payment gateway that processes your payment; the KYC/CKYC verification provider; our hosting and email providers; our professional advisers where required; and SEBI, the BSE Limited (Research Analyst Administration and Supervisory Body), or any other authority or court where disclosure is required by law or regulation.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Your subscription to research is not disclosed to any subject company.
How long we keep it
KYC records, client agreements, transaction records and complaint records are retained for a minimum of five years from the end of the relationship or the transaction, as required by regulation. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent. Usage logs are kept for a shorter period appropriate to security monitoring.
Security
Access to client data is restricted to those who need it. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will inform you and the relevant authority as required.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, to correct anything inaccurate, to stop sending you marketing communications, and to delete data we are not legally required to retain. Write to wisdominvestments@protonmail.com; we respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete records we are obliged to keep for five years — a request to delete those will be refused, and we will tell you why.
Cookies
The public pages of this website use only cookies necessary to make the site work. The member area uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on the compliance pages, so that the disclosures on this site can be read without being tracked.
Changes
Material changes to this policy are notified to subscribers by email before they take effect. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
