What arrives, and when
- Where the market is priced — index valuations against their own history, stated with the as-of date, so you can tell an expensive market from a frightening headline.
- One sector, read properly — drawn from the monthly sector screen, with the timeframe named. The weekly and monthly screens sometimes disagree; when they do, the letter says so rather than picking the more interesting answer.
- Results-season readouts — what the numbers actually said, separated from what the press release said they said.
- One idea explained from scratch — what return on capital measures and why it can lie, what a review trigger is for, why this business publishes no price targets.
The letter carries no stock recommendations. It is published for demonstration and investor education. Reading it does not create an advisory relationship, and nothing in it is personalised to your circumstances.
Why it is free
Because the honest way to sell research is to let someone watch you do it for a few months first. If the reasoning is any good, that is more persuasive than a marketing claim — and marketing claims about performance are not available to a registered Research Analyst anyway, nor should they be.
