Every investor should be able to make an informed investment decision, based on research that is honest about its method, its evidence and its limits.
Details of business transacted
Tejas Pravin Patel, trading as Wisdom Investments, has applied for registration with SEBI as an Individual Research Analyst under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 and the SEBI Master Circular for Research Analysts dated 6 February 2026, as amended on 25 March 2026, and is enlisted with the BSE Limited (Research Analyst Administration and Supervisory Body). The business consists of preparing and issuing research reports, research analysis and recommendations on listed and to-be-listed securities in India, and providing those reports to subscribers on a fee basis.
Services provided to investors
- Research reports on Indian listed equities, each carrying a dated recommendation, the valuation basis for it, and an explicit review or exit trigger.
- Periodic updates to published views when a stated review trigger is met.
- A record of every recommendation issued, timestamped, retained and available to subscribers — so that a view can be read against what was known on the date it was made.
- Guidance on how the research is intended to be used, including position sizing and diversification rules, published in the member area.
Rights of investors
- To receive fair, honest and transparent treatment, free from misrepresentation.
- To receive research that is free from any assurance of return and free from any guaranteed-profit claim.
- To be told, in the report itself, of any holding or interest the Research Analyst or his associates or relatives have in the subject company.
- To receive complete disclosure of the terms of service, the fee, and the refund position before payment, stated identically at the point of payment and on the policy pages.
- To have personal and financial information kept confidential, save where disclosure is required by law or by a regulator.
- To have a grievance redressed within 21 days, and to escalate it to SEBI through SCORES and to online dispute resolution through SMART ODR if it is not.
- To be informed of the extent to which artificial intelligence tools are used in providing research services.
- To terminate the engagement and receive a refund of the unused portion of the subscription on the pro-rata basis stated in the Refund Policy.
Disclosure of the use of Artificial Intelligence tools
The Investor Charter obliges a Research Analyst to disclose the extent to which artificial intelligence tools are used in providing research services. The research process of Wisdom Investments is AI-assisted, and that use is disclosed here and in full on the AI Use Disclosure page.
What the AI tools do. Collection of publicly available data (exchange filings, annual reports, regulatory disclosures, price and volume history); cross-verification of the same data point across independent sources, with disagreements flagged rather than averaged; screening and ranking against pre-defined quantitative criteria; and drafting, structuring and language-editing of research documents.
What the AI tools do not do. They do not make, approve or issue the recommendation. Every research view, rating, valuation judgement and the decision to publish is made by the Research Analyst personally, who reviews the underlying data and takes full responsibility for the output. No recommendation is generated, released or communicated to a client without that personal review.
Where the responsibility sits. Regulation 24(7) of the Research Analyst Regulations places sole responsibility on the Research Analyst — irrespective of the scale or manner in which AI tools are used — for the security, confidentiality and integrity of client data, for any research service based on the output of those tools, and for compliance with the law. That responsibility is accepted here and is not transferred to any tool or vendor. In practice: client data is not submitted to these tools, and no output is issued without personal review.
Limitations you should know about. Automated data collection can carry through an error present in a source. The Research Analyst's verification process is designed to catch source disagreement, but it cannot guarantee that every figure is free from error. Data is stated with its source and as-of date so that you can check it independently.

Expectations from investors — your responsibilities
Do: deal only with a SEBI-registered Research Analyst and verify the registration number independently; read the terms of service and the refund position before paying; pay fees only by cheque, bank transfer or other traceable banking channel, to the account named on the invoice; keep your contact details current; read every disclosure in a report, including any holding disclosed by the analyst; make your own assessment of whether a recommendation suits your circumstances.
Do not: deal on the basis of any assurance of return — no such assurance may lawfully be given; make any payment in cash; pay into any personal account other than the one named on the invoice; expect personalised advice, portfolio management or the handling of your funds or securities, none of which a Research Analyst may provide; share your account credentials.
